Storing your mat
When storing please roll it with the top layer (logo) on the outside. Folding and rolling up with the wrong side can cause wrinkles on the top of the mat. Please do not fold your mat. Store it in a cool, dry space, avoid direct sunlight. Keep away from oil and grease, because it can cause stains. Before use, please make sure your hands and feet are clean and oil-free (free from body lotions, face creams).
Cleaning your mat
For cleaning use a soft cloth or towel (ensuring it is not rough or scratchy) and water with a hint of dish soap. Use this to wet the cloth, ring it out and proceed to wipe down your mat gently with the damp cloth. Allow your mat to dry naturally. Do not over-clean your mat, it can cause outwearing the materials. Do not to soak the mat in water.
The natural odor of the natural rubber will diminish over time.
If you have latex allergy please be aware, that our mats are made from natural rubber, so they contain latex. The top layer is made from polyurethane, which means, you are not in direct contact with the latex. However, we strongly advise you proceed with caution and contact a medical practitioner to understand the extent of your allergy before purchasing.
